Especially, if you want your home to be off-grid (without a connection to the Disnorte Dissur), the calculation needs to be very detailed.
However, please find attached the typical monthly consumption of different size homes in Nicaragua. Please select what describes your situation best to get an idea on the electricity consumption of your new home:
- 100 – 400 kWh for a home without air conditioning or pool pump running on a regular basis.
- 350 – 650 kWh for a home with one air conditioner running all night in the master bedroom and no pool pump.
- 500 – 800 kWh for a home with one air conditioner running all night in the master bedroom and a pool pump a few hours each day.
- 700 – 1,000 kWh for a home with one air conditioner running at day and night and a pool pump a few hours each day.
- 950 – 1,250 kWh for a home with two air conditions running at night, one during the day, and a pool pump a few hours each day.

Once we receive the reservation deposit for your system, we plan the installation. If everything is in stock (please ask your solar project developer), we can usually install within 2-3 weeks. If we need to order parts, it can take up to 2-3 months until we can install. The installation itself usually takes 2-3 days for a battery based system.
