Nicamisol Expands to Costa Rica: First Solar Projects in Nosara
At Nicamisol, we are passionate about bringing sustainable energy solutions to homes and businesses. While we have primarily focused on Nicaragua, we are excited to announce our expansion into Costa Rica with the successful completion of our first two solar projects in Nosara. This milestone marks the beginning of our journey to bring clean, reliable energy to even more communities in Central America.
The Journey to Nosara
Starting something new is always challenging, and our expansion to Costa Rica was no exception. One of the unexpected hurdles we faced was transportation. Our truck, which was supposed to transport the solar equipment from the Nicaraguan border to the clients in Costa Rica, was not permitted to cross the border. This obstacle could have significantly delayed our project, but we found a solution thanks to our transport partner’s dedication and flexibility. The transport company that initially picked up our equipment in Managua stepped up and delivered the equipment all the way to the clients in Nosara.

Innovative Solar Solutions
The two systems we installed in Nosara are equipped with cutting-edge technology. Each system features smart hybrid Luxpower inverters and includes lithium batteries, ensuring robust and efficient energy storage. A total of 46 TopCon solar panels were installed, providing sustainable energy generation and helping to mitigate the impact of the increasingly unstable public grid in the region.
These installations represent our technical expertise and our ability to overcome logistical challenges to deliver top-notch service to our clients. Here are pictures of the roofs of both projects, showcasing the solar panels in place and ready to generate clean energy.
